Family Access Membership
The Wabash County Museum is now offering a Family Access Membership that allows families who may not be able to afford general membership and/or daily admission a no cost annual membership that provides full access to the Museum and all of its programs. This program is provided in part thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Wabash County.
The general guidelines for this membership include residency in Wabash County, Indiana, must be at least 18 years of age, and must be receiving some form of public assistance (i.e. SNAP, TANF, Hoosier Healthwise, etc.). Families with children enrolled in the Hoosier Healthwise Program are eligible as well. Families not meeting these guidelines can also receive the membership benefits through a referral from a social service or educational partner.
To apply, individuals must complete the enclosed form and present documents showing their participation in one of the qualifying programs or a referral form in order receive a Family Access Membership. As well, a valid, Indiana State-issued photo ID must be presented to validate Wabash County residency.
These items should be presented by the family to the Museum, where they will be presented with their membership information. The Museum hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
