Museum Reopening!

Writer's picture: Wabash County Museum Wabash County Museum

We're excited to open our doors to members on Tuesday, February 2nd!

We have modified our hours to Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This will allow our staff to spend additional time at the beginning and end of each day to do additional deep cleaning. In addition to this deep cleaning, the Museum will continue to provide gloves and adult and children masks as needed.

When you visit the Museum, you will notice a few exciting changes. Our team has used this time to refresh exhibits, make facility improvements, and many other updates. We have also opened our doors as a vaccination site for the Wabash County Health Department, so we thank you for your patience as we navigate this new addition. The board of directors and staff express their thanks to donors, foundations, businesses, and families who have continued to support our mission.

Please review our updated guidelines for the Museum and the Den before your first visit:

  • Our hours will be 10:00-4:30 Tuesday-Friday and 10:00-2:00 Saturday until further notice

  • Masks are required at all times within the Museum.

  • Please maintain social distancing while playing in The Den and exploring the Museum.

  • Food and drink are not permitted.

  • Our current max capacity of The Den is 25 guests.

  • Shoes must be removed before getting on the play structure.

  • Please abide by the age restrictions on the play structures.

  • Parents are required to supervise their children at all times.

  • For their safety, we ask that you ensure your children do not climb the slides or play in the front of the slide exits.
