Program Sponsorship Opportunities 2023

First Friday Lead Sponsor

Sponsor First Fridays at the Museum

The Museum celebrates First Friday each month from 5 - 8 pm with special events and activities for all. While each month's activities are different depending on the theme and weather, examples of last year's events include a free presentation from the Salamonie Raptor Center (with live birds), the launch of Life Sized Candy Land, special exhibit previews, and more.

Haunted Pop Up Mini Golf

The Museum owns our own regulation 09-hole Miniature Golf Course which we "pop up" in the Museum every October. Mini golf sponsors at the $1,000, $500 and $250 levels get the opportunity to decorate their own hole on the course.

(We will decorate it for you if you prefer.) Golf is open for the entire month anytime the Museum is open. In 2022, about 1,500 people visited the Museum in October to play through.

Winter Weekends Sponsor

In December, the Museum will offer several family friendly winter weekend workshops that will include the chance to meet a holiday character (The Grinch, Santa & Olaf), participate in a holiday activity like cookie decorating, ornament making, and more. Holiday favorite movies will show in the Crystal Gayle Theater. All workshops include skating on our indoor synthetic ice rink. These were sold-out events in 2022.

Spring Break Life Size Game Sponsor

In 2022, the Museum turned our first floor into a Life Sized Candy Land game board for the week of Spring Break. Players received their own deck of cards and used these to advance through the game. More than 1,000 guests visited the Museum in one week to play! We will roll out a new Life Sized Game for Spring Break 2023.

Museum Explorers Sponsor

During Summer Break, students of all ages can participate in the Museum Explorers' Program for free. Each month, we offer a different exhibit-based scavenger hunt that youth can complete during their visit. When they show t heir completed form at the Welcome Desk, they get the chance to pick a prize.

General Program Sponsor

Support the overall programming at the Museum and let the staff decide where it is most needed.
