2020 Theme - "Explore Home"

​

This year's essay focuses on the theme Explore Home and encourages students in grades 6th to 8th to explore questions such as - What has been important to Wabash County? What has set Wabash County apart from other communities?  How do we connect to place and what makes a "home"?

Essay authors are encouraged to interview family and community members and get a better understanding of the history of Wabash County and make recommendations on how we keep our communities resilient.

Any youth grades 6th, 7th or 8th living in Wabash County are eligible to participate.  Packets are being delivered to Wabash County school systems but the packet can also be downloaded below.  Key dates, grading rubric, and other important information is contained in the packet.
