About The Event

Join us for coffee and a treat, provided by our sponsor Bob Evans Restaurant and Imagine One 85. Wabash native Susie Jones wrote the script, music, and lyrics for two full-length musicals about Wabash history. One tells the story of people traveling from Toledo to Wabash on the Wabash and Erie Canal. The entire play takes place on a canal boat. The other play takes place in Wabash in 1880 when Wabash became the first electrically lighted city in the world. Susie will share how she researched, wrote, and brought her dream to fruition with the help of many wonderful, generous people and organizations in this remarkable community.  “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10 to 11:30 am on Thursday, June 5th. This is a free event brought to you by the Wabash County Museum.
